When your Facebook account is hacked, taking immediate action is crucial to secure your account  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 and prevent further misuse. Follow these steps to regain control and protect your data:

1. Change Your Password Immediately

If you still have access to your account, the first thing you should do is change your Facebook +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐  password. Go to Settings > Security and Login, and select the option to change  your password. Use a strong, unique password that combines uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using passwords  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 you've previously used or ones that are easy to guess.

2. Log Out of All Devices

In the Security and Login section, you’ll see a list of devices currently +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐  logged into your account. Select Log Out of All Sessions to disconnect unauthorized users from your account.

3. Report the Hack to Facebook

If you cannot log into your account because the hacker has changed your email +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐  or password, visit the Facebook Hacked Account Help Page (facebook.com/hacked). Follow the prompts to report the issue and begin the account recovery  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 process. Facebook may ask you to verify your identity by submitting an ID or responding to security questions.

4. Check Recent Activity

After securing your account, review your account’s recent activity. Go to Settings > Security and Login  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 and look for suspicious logins, unrecognized devices, or unusual activity such as changed email addresses, posts, or friend requests. Remove any unauthorized changes immediately.

5. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To prevent future hacks, enable two-factor authentication. Go to Settings > Security and Login,  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 and activate 2FA. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code sent to your phone or email whenever someone tries to log into your account.

6. Secure Your Linked Email Account

Hackers often gain access to your Facebook account through  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 your linked email. Change your email password immediately and enable 2FA for your email account as well.

7. Notify Your Friends

Let your friends know your account was hacked. Hackers may use your account  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 to send phishing messages, scam others, or spread malicious links.

8. Be Wary of Third-Party Services

Avoid using unofficial recovery services or sharing your account credentials with anyone. Stick to Facebook’s official recovery tools for safety.

By acting quickly and following these steps, you can regain control of your  +𝟏 - 𝟖 𝟓 𝟓 - 𝟒 𝟕 𝟎 - 𝟑 𝟔 𝟎 𝟐 Facebook account and minimize the potential damage caused by hackers.
